eCAPITAL and Demeter announce a partnership agreement

eCAPITAL and Demeter have signed a partnership agreement aiming at strengthening their expertise in their common investment areas – environmental and energy transition (cleantech), industry 4.0 and new materials – and better understanding the issues at stake in those sectors at a European level. Their partnership constitutes an additional asset for the investors of their funds as well as for the entrepreneurs that they accompany.

Under this agreement, the two management companies will engage in a cooperation regarding sectoral watch, pre-investment due diligence, support to cross-border development and research of partners for the companies in their portfolios, and fundraising.

Demeter ( is a major European player in private equity for ecological and energy transition. Its funds invest from €500k to €30m to support companies in this sector at all stages of their development: innovative startups, fast-growing SMEs and midcap companies as well as infrastructure projects. Demeter’s team, which includes 33 people based in Paris, Grenoble, Metz and Madrid, manages €1bn and has completed 120 investments in 12 years.
